Finally a better way

After surviving the aftermath of many Caribbean hurricanes some years back, I wanted to prepare better and have plenty of batteries on hand to power my equipment and gear needs. I shied away from small 'rechargeable' batteries (earlier tech) since they never seemed to live up to my expectations and they also went bad even while stored properly.
I packed a small cooler with various sizes of Alkaline batteries for a stable storage environment.
They leaked in unopened packages far before expiration dates. They had a finite shelf and service life. Seems like I wasted so much money. I wanted to switch over to Lithium but was never aware there was such a thing as rechargeable Lithium size D, 9v, AA, AAA and 123 batteries by way of integral USB-C ports.
I thought this is just what I needed.
So I investigated.
I decided I was going to go with Paleblue. My impression is that they are interested in me, the customer. But foremost the environment. Nice easy website. Great products. The company appreciated my business, they made that clear with follow up emails that did not nag me, LOL.
I use Geiger counters, survey meters, night vision devices and many more accessories. I need reliable power sources for these and backup spares on hand ready to go. I'm going to use up my dwindling stocks of standard batteries but won't be buying anything new again but Paleblue.
It's the better way going forward. Finally! I now recommend these to my friends and everyone else.

Decent batteries

These batteries were purchased to use in a flameless candle. They run for a long time. The only problem I had was the positive nub on the battery is shorter than regular D size batteries. I had to use a piece of aluminum foil to "bridge the gap" between the contact in the candle and the battery.

Amazing Batteries!

I live in Minnesota and even in extreme cold, these do a good job in my flood lights. Not sure if -10F is okay for them, I make sure they get to room temperature before charging, but they've been working great for 2 years. If you have problems, the customer support is amazing as well.!
